Built Along Gogonya Road, Country Inn is strategically located 50 meters away from Pallisa District Administration Headquarters and is a walking distance from Pallisa Town.
The Mission of the Country Inn is to provide quality services and faculties to guests and tourists visiting Eastern Uganda.

The Hotel has a total of 23 Self Contained rooms comprising of twin beds, double and single beds, all rates are inclusive of bed and breakfast.

The hotel has a total of 23 self contained rooms comprising of twin beds, double and single beds, all rates inlcusive of bed and breakfast. Special accommodation arrangements can be made to meet customer’s demands for maximum comfort

Considering a Retreat?

The hotel has a 200 capacity conference facility and two Country cottages are available for small groups and executive meetings for guests ranging between 25-50 in number.
Conferences, Workshops and meetings can also be arranged in the Hotel’s spacious counrty gardens. The Hotel is served by a three phase power standy generator. Water suply is a 12,000 litre water tank connected directly to the main water supply. All communication facilities (telephobe, fascimile, e-mail) are available at the hotel.

Available activities around the hotel include: Cave exploration, Boating and fishing, bird watching, Mountain Climbing at the nearby Mount Elgon and much more.

  • Boat Cruises on Lake Kyoga can be arranged on request.
  • Rock Climbing in agule and Kameke Hills.
  • Site seeing at the famous Gogonyo Palm Farm.
  • Bird watching in Gogonyo, Opeta overlooking Lake Kyoga.
  • Variety of wildlife viewing which include vervet monkeys, crocodiles, hippos, colourful wetlands, birds.
  • Hiking opportunites are abundant, there are ares where trails lead to rocky ridges and caves overlooking Lake Kyoga, Kumi and Soroti districts, and one can spot monkeys, monitor lizards and a variety of interesting birds in Gogonyo Rocks.
  • Cave exploration is also available in the mumerous caves
  • Boating and Fishing are options with improved lake access on the Kyoga. Pallisa has many dirt roads and trails, which lend themselves perfectly to dirt biking.
